Spooky Ruby Part 3
She was toying with a yellow apple at the kitchen table when
heard Ruby’s Grandmother let herself in.
She thought it was a liberty, that she came and went as she pleased. But it was his Mother.
‘Matriarch of the Henshaw
Family Empire’ she thought bitterly.
She wasn’t sure when she had become such an enormous annoyance. After all, Ruby was so very attached to her.
It didn’t help, that although spending so much time at the
house with Ruby, she didn’t speak to her.
Hadn’t done so since the accident. She’d
tried, but was always met with silence.

DeleteHa ha! That was great. This story is going places. Mother in law from hell. She sounds really over bearing. But will it all be resolved? Looking forward to next weeks installment.
