I was lucky enough to be able to spend some lovely sunshine hours working in the garden yesterday. I was trying to get to grips with what is growing and decided to take some photographs of the amazing colours. Here is my favourite, a simple and classic bluebell :
I love bluebells. (I know it's a bit spice girl, but actually I rather like it as the name of Geri Halliwell's daughter too!). In bluebell season I've often tried to take pics of Pip in a mass of them in the woods/Kew. It's really hard to get the impression of the mass of them. I think a close up is much better. Have a lovely time at the flower show tomorrow. I think the weather is going to be fab for you. x
ReplyDeleteThe weather was fab, couldn't have asked for a better day! I love the vibrancy of the colour of bluebells in photographs.x
DeleteThat is a really beautiful picture. I love bluebells too and forget me knots! Have a great time at the flower show!
ReplyDeleteA wonderful time was had at the Flower Show. Great memories and lots of inspiration!x
DeleteAnother bluebell fan here: there used to be a bluebell wood near where I grew up and it was something I loved, even as a child x
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWow, you have those growing in your new garden? That's lovely. We back onto woodland with substantial numbers of bluebells so it's only a short walk away to see them, but to have them in your garden is special. Polly x
