Meeting new people, with which to share a whole new set of experiences or perspectives can inspire/encourage/ or just bring a new element of fun to life! I love your comment about your husband being your friend too. So heartwarming :0)

PS. You really do have to take the bull by the horns and be bold and get yourself out there. I think that Netmum's do a great thing that allows you to post a short 'ad' for want of a better word, that works great if you are new the area. I made some good friends that way. I think the key is to continue to make an effort to keep those friendships alive, even if sometimes you think you have too many other things going on. A trip to visit a friend always raises the spirits.Lynsey Summershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09026494707946270279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7285764348871241345.post-86511297490414676492012-03-22T17:26:32.610+00:002012-03-22T17:26:32.610+00:00I really enjoyed this. The "newness" was welcome but pretty soon reality set in & I felt something I had never felt before - lonely. Not totally lonely because I had my husband & boys & I even liked just being by myself but I missed having friends. I went out on a limb & started a crochet group. I was lucky, it took off wonderfully and I made new friends from so many walks of life.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07128187537972423200noreply@blogger.com
